Job Title: Deputy Nursing Home Manager – RGN – Mid Glamorgan

Salary: £28,808 per annum in line with experience

Location: Mid Glamorgan

Qualified as RGN, you should be able to demonstrate a minimum of 3 years post registration and management experience.
• To act as Home Manager in their absence
• To liaise and network with outside services and members of the multi disciplinary team
• To act as primary contact for relatives and carers
• To undertake pre assessments for prospective new residents and promote the services that the home offers
• To act as Line Manager to the Care Assistants which involves providing help and support when needed, organising in house training and completing their appraisals
• Undertake monthly medication ordering and auditing which involves working closely with the GP surgeries and pharmacy.
• To assist in the maintenance of standards set by The Care Quality Commission and The Care Standards Act
• Undertaking on call responsibilities (out of hours)
Along with a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards and a full valid work permit.
The post will be subject to Enhanced Disclosure under the Criminal Records Bureau.
